In this center dependent on the Generalitat of Catalonia you can see a small, but interesting exhibition, especially for fans of the great Catalan architect Gaudí.
In the Gaudí Lab exhibition objects related to the architectural innovation workshop that Gaudí assumed the Crypt of the Colonia Güell, a very little known corner that you can visit very close to Barcelona, and that the architect himself considered as the previous experiment of innovations applied in the sacred Family.
The exposition It is organized in four environments.
In the first, Gaudí, Man and Work, basic features of the persolity of the prestigious architect are exposed. In the second environment the Colonia Güell, industrial colony where Gaudí tried various construction techniques.
And finally, in the environment The Holy Family Original documents are shown that allow the reconstruction of the history of the construction of its great architectural project.
In the exhibition you can see objects, such as a liturgical bank of the Gaudí Crypt, in Colonia Güell, or weights of the model of the aforementioned crypt, the book of condolences for the death of Gaudí, or handwritten instructions of Gaudí to his secretary for a presentation.
